For the third year in a row, the Lebanon VA Medical Center has been named the top level 2 VA medical center in the United States for patient experience, according to an announcement by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The prestigious award was conferred during the VA’s annual Customer Experience Symposium, held Sept. 14-15 in Washington, D.C.

Lebanon VAMC and its five community clinics achieved the highest overall combined patient and employee experience scores among all complexity level 2 facilities within the Veterans Health Administration.

The facility notably scored in the top quintile in several categories, including the Survey of Healthcare Providers (SHEP) Overall Rating of the Provider, SHEP Inpatient Overall Rating of the Hospital, and Veterans Signals Trust scores. Notably, the Veteran Trust score reached a record high.

New VA director Jeffrey A. Beiler II echoed his predecessor’s comments, saying, “The best in VA Overall Experience Award is like the Oscar, Emmy or Grammy awards. It’s a reaffirmation for years of excellence and demonstrates great achievements are possible with excellent teamwork.”
