Lebanon City Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Gavin Rodriguez, a 19-year-old Lebanon man, for his role as the alleged shooter in an incident that took place in the city on Saturday night, Oct. 21.
Police said that they were dispatched at 7:47 p.m. on Saturday to the 900 block of Lehman Street for a shooting. Upon arrival, police located two victims, a 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old man who both had gunshot wounds to their lower extremities. The victims were transported to a Dauphin County medical center for treatment, police said. The current status of the victims is not known.
Rodriguez will be charged with aggravated assault and firearms not to be carried without license.
Police said that they believe this was a verbal argument that escalated into a physical fight and then gunshots. Police do not believe this was a random incident, and said that the victims were targeted.
