Celebrating the Golden Years: Fifty Plus Festival
On Nov. 2, the Fifty Plus Festival will kick off the month with a special focus on the senior members of our community. This unique event promises a day filled with entertainment, educational resources, and exclusive offers. Highlights include performances and demonstrations such as:
- The Swingtime Dolls, taking attendees on a musical journey through eras past.
- A heartfelt tribute to Patsy Cline by Carol Kline.
- Health and wellness tips from Lebanon Valley Family YMCA.
- Cedar Crest High School’s rendition of scenes from “Romeo & Juliet.”
- Performances by Juniper Village Joyful Noise Ringers & Singers.

A Feline Extravaganza: Tabby Tales Cat Show
Cat enthusiasts should mark their calendars for November 4-5 for the “Lazy Purrs of Autumn” Tabby Tales Cat Show. The event features a variety of breeds and welcomes families and individuals alike. Honoring Sporting Greats: Central PA Sports Hall of Fame Banquet
The community will come together to honor local sports legends at the Central PA Sports Hall of Fame Banquet on Nov. 13. This yearโs inductees include Bruce Boudreau, Timothy Gingrich, Stanley Kohl, Wayne Perry, and Neil Weber. Special recognitions will also be given to community service award winner Pat Huggins and Pop Kelchner winners Samantha Nelson and Alex Long. A Sparkling Affair: Gem Minerโs Holiday
From November 18-19, the Gem Miner’s Holiday Show is the go-to event for enthusiasts of gems, jewelry, fossils, and unique gifts, with over 80 vendors showcasing their exquisite collections. Festive Beginnings: Christmas at the Expo
Rounding out the month, from November 24-26, is the 9th Annual Christmas at the Expo, Lebanon Valleyโs premier holiday shopping event. With free admission, the festive gathering features over 300 vendors, live holiday music, activities for kids, and a canned food drive supporting the Lebanon Rescue Mission. Expect musical performances throughout the weekend by Matt Miskie, The Root Blossoms, Elegant Aires Flute Quartet, and more.
