LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Ricky!
“This funny lad is finally ready to get out of here!” Taylor, a spokesperson at the Humane Society of Lebanon County, told LebTown.
Ricky is 3 years old and has spent six months with the Humane Society due to a wound of unknown origin, Taylor explained.
“He currently resides in our clinic helping with surgery and keeping staff company,” she said.
This handsome man “is not a fan of doggies as he does try to be alpha,” Taylor noted. He “does okay” with other cats, she added, but said he is “a rough player and dominate.”
But cat lovers rejoice, because Ricky “is a loving chunky boy who loves to make funny noises and purr!” Taylor said he does like to be petted, “not held for long period of time.”
“Please check out this boy if you are looking for a cute friend!” she said.
If you are interested in adopting Ricky, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
