Lebanon Transit announced that veterans and active duty service members ride for free on all fixed route buses November 6 – 11 in recognition of Veterans Day. Riders can simply board any fixed route bus and present the driver with a valid ID. Forms of valid ID include a VA card, active duty card, retired card, driver’s license with veteran logo, or DD214 discharge form.
Lebanon Transit reminds customers that its fixed route buses operate as a flag stop service. A person can simply wave to signal a driver to stop anywhere along the bus route. The bus will stop at the closest safe spot to allow boarding.
