Bethel Township
Vehicle accident, careless driving – At 8:36 p.m. Dec. 1, a crash occurred as a westbound 2005 Honda Accord driven by a 17-year-old Jonestown man on Greble Road attemptED to pass a vehicle in a passing zone but swerved back to the west lane due to an oncoming vehicle and struck a utility pole in the 400 block of Greble Road. The Honda sustained disabling damage. The juvenile was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Police charged him with careless driving.
City of Lebanon
No Shave November 2023 – No Shave November 2023 has come to an end, and the Lebanon City Police Department would like to thank everyone for accepting the officers who put the razors down for November for a great cause. The department was honored to partner with director Erin Harding and the staff at WellSpan Sechler Family Cancer Center, as the department’s officers donated a total of $1,110.
Myerstown Borough
Criminal mischief under $1,000 – At 2:15 p.m. Dec. 3, police responded to the 100 block of West Main Avenue, where a 62-year-old Myerstown man’s garage was spray-painted sometime in the evening on Dec. 2. The man said he knows of kids hanging in the back alleyway but is unsure who damaged his garage. None of the surrounding properties have functional cameras, he said, although new cameras will soon be installed. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown.
North Cornwall Township
DUI – At 12:10 p.m. Sept. 20, police responded to Dawson Street for a domestic in progress. Donald Cummings, 66, of Lebanon, fled on his bicycle and was charged with a DUI.
Driving while suspended – At 7 p.m. Oct. 29, police charged a 61-year-old Lebanon man after an incident on South 18th Street.
Warrant – At 8:37 p.m. Nov. 4, police arrested Dionne Sylvester, 55, of Harrisburg, on Quentin Road for a warrant from the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office.
Vehicle accident – At 7:15 p.m. Nov. 6, a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Lebanon man was traveling south on South Mill Street when he lost control and hit a parked car. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Vehicle accident – At 6:07 p.m. Nov. 9, a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Lebanon man was traveling west on Rocherty Road, approaching Mill Road, when he collided with the car in front of him.
Retail theft – At 11:15 a.m. Nov. 13, police arrested Colton Snyder, 19, of Lebanon, for retail theft after an incident at Target.
Vehicle accident – At 5:02 p.m. Nov. 21, a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Mount Laurel, New Jersey woman was hit by a fallen tree branch on Quentin Road. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
North Lebanon Township
Retail theft – Police charged Shon Button, of Middletown, with retail theft on Dec. 6 after he concealed merchandise worth $377.48 from Boscov’s department store.
Disorderly conduct – Police charged a Lebanon, womanwith disorderly conduct on Nov. 5 after an incident on the 1800 block of East Lehman Street. Police said she was told to stop being disorderly and continued with her actions.
Harassment – Police charged a Lebanon woman for striking a person in the face Nov. 3 on the 1500 block of Colonial Circle.
Terroristic threats, simple assault – Police charged Lisa Pesta, of Lebanon, with simple assault and terroristic threats with intention to terrorize another on Nov. 13 after an incident on Mckinley Avenue.
North Londonderry Township
Disorderly conduct – At 6:45 p.m. Dec. 3, police charged a 49-year-old Lebanon man with disorderly conduct after they received a disturbance call at the Rey Azteca Restaurant, at 14 N. Londonderry Square. It was reported to police that Fake was involved in an argument with a female and threw a glass bowl filled with condiments, striking her on the head before landing on the dining room floor. The man left the restaurant before police arrived.
Palmyra Borough
Criminal mischief – On Nov. 27, charges were filed through MDJ Garver’s office, charging Deanna Gingrich, 62, with criminal mischief for an incident that occurred on Oct. 15 on the 900 block of East Main Street, Palmyra.
South Lebanon Township
Accidents involving damage to attended vehicle, driving while suspended – At approximately 9:22 a.m. Nov. 30, police responded to a crash on the 500 block of Prescott Road and learned the striking vehicle had left the scene. The striking vehicle and its driver, Jordan Bashore, 30, were located later. Police charged Bashore with accidents involving damage to attended vehicles or property, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked (DUI-related), and failing to stop, give information and render aid.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident – At 3:01 p.m. Nov. 23, police investigated a crash at East Patrick and Lawn roads. A vehicle driven by a 64-year-old Palmyra woman proceeded through an intersection with a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Palmyra man. The Palmyra man’s vehicle flipped over and both drivers were transported by ambulance to Hershey Medical Center. Lawn Fire Department, Life Lion EMS, and First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon assisted on the scene. Police charged the Palmyra woman with driving vehicle at safe speed and duties at stop signs.
Vehicle accident – At 3:52 p.m. Nov. 22, police investigated a crash at Horseshoe Pike and Palmyra Road. A vehicle driven by a 39-year-old York man proceeded through an intersection without clearance and struck a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Palmyra man. Campbelltown Fire Department assisted on the scene. Police charged the York man with driving vehicle at safe speed and driving without a license.
Hit-and-run – Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash at 7:14 a.m. Nov. 28. A tractor-trailer hauling concrete barriers struck the driver’s side mirror on an occupied pickup truck parked on the 2700 block of Horseshoe Pike. The tractor-trailer continued west on Horseshoe Pike without stopping. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact South Londonderry Township police at 717-838-1376.
West Lebanon Township
Scattering rubbish – Police charged a 25-year-old man with scattering rubbish on Nov. 9 after he disposed of his dead, decomposing dog in a bag behind the Boscov’s property.
