Lebanon County motorists are advised there will be daytime lane restrictions this week on northbound and southbound Route 934 at the Interstate 81 bridges spanning the highway at exit 85 in East Hanover Township.
The restrictions will be in place so an inspection can be performed on the I-81 bridges, according to a press release from Dave Thompson, spokesman for PennDOT District 8. District 8 covers Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties.
Weather permitting, the work will be performed Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 12-13. There will be alternating right/left lane closures in both directions of Route 934 each day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Travelers are reminded to be alert, obey work zone signs, and use caution when driving through the area.
