A teenager has been charged with arson in connection with a house fire on the 100 block of West Cherry Street in Palmyra that sent multiple families out of their homes on Nov. 4.

In addition to the two counts of arson, the 16-year-old male juvenile from the Palmyra area was also charged on April 8 with risking a catastrophe and two counts of reckless endangerment through Lebanon County Juvenile Probation.

A news release Monday said the charges were the result of an investigation by the Palmyra Borough Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police, which determined that the fire was incendiary.
