The Tour de Lebanon Valley, with routes ranging from 6 to 62 miles, will be held June 8 on the rolling roadways of Lebanon County.

The annual bicycle event includes three route options: the metric century (100k/62 miles), the mid-distance ride (with 25- or 32-mile options), and the family ride (with 6- and 12-mile options). Cost to participate is $50 per rider until May 25 – or $60 per rider from May 26 to June 8 – for both of the longer courses, while the family ride is $5 per rider.
Proceeds support five local nonprofit organizations: the Community Health Council of Lebanon County, the Lebanon Bicycle Recycle, and the Lebanon Valley Bicycle Coalition, who are core partners for the event, as well as the Lebanon Valley Conservancy and the Lebanon Valley Mountain Bike Team.
The family course is on the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, a mixed-use greenway, and includes free admission to the Cornwall Iron Furnace. The metric century “circumnavigates the beautiful Lebanon Valley” and “includes rolling hills, picturesque farmland and historic sites,” according to the event website, while the mid-distance experience “includes most of the second half of our metric century” including “the quaint villages and the wildlife mecca of Middle Creek.”
Each course has the following rolling start times: metric century, 6:30-7:30 a.m.; mid-distance, 7:30-8:30 a.m.; and family ride, 9-10 a.m. Registration is available online.
Class 1 e-bikes are permitted in the event, but riders have the responsibility of determining that their battery charge is adequate for completing the ride.
