The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that motorists traveling on Interstate 81 in Union Township should expect delays due to scheduled power line replacements near exit 90 (Route 72/Lebanon).

Rolling stops are planned for both directions of I-81 during the overnight hours of Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, contingent on favorable weather conditions. These temporary halts will occur between midnight and 5 a.m. and may last up to 15 minutes each.

A contractor will be pulling power lines across the highway near exit 90 during this time.

Drivers are advised to remain alert for stopped or slow-moving traffic as they near the construction area.
