The Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging will host a Health is Wealth information fair May 1 as part of an annual effort to reach out to seniors and provide them with information about local services and programs.
Participating vendors provide services for the local population ages 60 and up, although non-seniors are also welcome to attend. The fair is an opportunity for seniors to learn about the resources available to them and to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
The free event will also include a picnic lunch, for which a $4.50 donation is requested (but not required). According to a release from Shannon McMinn, director of senior center services for the Agency on Aging, doors open at 10 a.m., lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., prizes will be awarded at 1 p.m., and the event ends at 2 p.m.
The event will be held at 710 Maple Street, Lebanon. RSVP for lunch by April 24 by calling 717-273-9262.
A Sole Supporters Walk will follow at 5 p.m. at Lenni Lenape Park.
