A fundraiser created for Bryan Kendall, the Annville farmer who perished in a silo collapse Saturday, has seen more than $42,000 donated in just over a day since it was started.
The fundraiser has already far exceeded its $10,000 goal.
Kendall has been identified by authorities as the victim in a silo collapse that took place Saturday, April 27, at his Villa Dale Farm in South Annville Township. He was 31 years old.

The Lebanon County Coroner’s office said that a formal cause of death is expected to be released tomorrow.
Fundraiser organizer Landon Allebach said that he and Bryan had known each other since they were kids, having been the same age and growing up minutes apart from each other.
“Bryan was the type – he’d give you the shirt off his back and you can tell people knew that,” said Allebach.
Kendall’s huge willingness to give is how Allebach explains the overwhelming response received by the fundraiser so far.
“He was known throughout the community and he was a big part of it,” said Allebach, noting the fundraiser was borne out of a community desire to provide a way for people to help.
Kendall was a dairy farmer who, according to a 2022 Lancaster Farming profile, knew early on that that he wanted to be a farmer.
“It’s what I always enjoyed the most,” Kendall told Lancaster Farming.
According to the fundraiser description, Kendall leaves behind a wife and two children.
“The sheer amount of love and support being poured out during this horrific time is proof of just how well loved Bryan was by his family, friends, church, and farming community,” reads the fundraiser text.
“We know there are many people who would like to help the Kendall family, and so we’re setting this up as a way to support them with any financial needs they might have in the coming months. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated.”
