When Alex and Olmsted’s MILO THE MAGNIFICENT® takes the stage at Gretna Music on Saturday, June 15, prepare to be blown away. But not by the dialogue.

Billed as “a wordless comedy,” MILO THE MAGNIFICENT® employs innovative puppetry and music to tell the story of aspiring magician Milo whose tricks rarely go as planned.

This visually captivating show is the brainchild of puppeteers and filmmakers Alex Vernon and Sarah Olmsted Thomas. Their company, Alex and Olmsted, is an internationally acclaimed puppet theater based in Baltimore, Maryland and the recipients of three prestigious Jim Henson Foundation grants.
