Friday will start off mild and sticky as dew points will be impressive. Temperatures will top out on either side of 90 degrees under a mix of sun and clouds. Thunderstorms will develop early Friday afternoon and should swing across our region between noon and 5 pm. Some storms could become stronger in nature, but generally, today is a heavy rain and vivid lightning set up vs severe. Flash flooding is possible as copious amounts of rain are likely.

Saturday will be almost a carbon copy of Friday, as we will be dealing with hot and humid conditions. Temperatures will again top out on either side of 90 degrees. Widespread thunderstorms will develop during the early afternoon, and much like Friday, we’re expecting most of this activity to produce heavy rain and vivid lightning. The time frame is between noon and 5 p.m.

Sunday will not be as hot or humid, but isolated thunderstorms will once again be a threat but mainly early in the afternoon. Temperatures top out in the middle 80s.
