Oct. 26 event at Brian’s Model Trains in Myerstown features renowned train artist

Peter Lerro Jr. to appear at Brian’s Model Trains for special event

A full house is expected at Brian’s Model Trains store at 109 West Main Avenue on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the appearance of renowned train artist Peter Lerro, Jr. at the store.

Lerro, a nationally known artist, has captured the spirit of railroading with watercolors, painting, drawings, and art in many other subjects.

At the October 26 event, Lerro will set up a table outside the store and create an original artwork on the scene. This should be of great interest to area art students, lovers of art, and the many fans of his work over the years.

Store owner Brian Saul says, “We sell many calendars featuring Peter’s train art each year and art renditions, with and without frames. Peter will be at the store to autograph prints and meet and greet fans and the public at our special event, which kicks off our popular Fall Season.”

Brian’s Model Trains is located at 109 West Main Avenue in Myerstown.

There will also be complimentary refreshments, prize drawings, and more throughout the day of the event.
