Lebanon Transit is putting on its first-ever Halloween Costume Contest from Monday through Thursday, Oct. 28 to 31.
The transit authority invites riders and community members to compete for the prize package, which includes a free 31-day county bus pass for the winner of the best costume. A second prize pack will be awarded to an entry chosen randomly, according to a release from Lebanon Transit.
To participate, individuals are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costumes and take a photo or selfie along with a Lebanon Transit bus, van, bus shelter, or the Transfer Station at 7th and Willow streets. Participants must then submit their entries by direct messaging, tagging Lebanon Transit on Instagram (@lebanontransit) with the hashtag #LTtrickortreat, or emailing mritter@lebanontransit.org with the subject line “Halloween” by midnight on Halloween.
A panel of judges composed of “fresh zombies, cursed witches, and Gru’s minions” will select the winning costume.
