LIMA raises $4,610 for cancer research through costume fundraiser

Cancer has touched all of us in some way. As healthcare professionals, we understand the impact of cancer on patients, families and friends. But we continue see incredible stories of strength and survival.

At Lebanon Internal Medicine Associates, we honor a deep commitment to be part of the solution and support for both our patients and our employees. We are dedicated to supporting the Lebanon community and the efforts of Relay for Life.

With every fund raiser in LIMA’s support of Relay for Life, we are supporting their goal to create a world free of cancer. Our recent “Costumes for a Cure” event allows our teams to use their imagination and creativity to transform the practice. Everyone appreciates this special event with food, raffles, and gift baskets for all the employees to enjoy. It is an ambitious volunteer effort that our staff undertakes each year, with the hope of topping our prior year donation amount.

This year our one-day event collected $4,610 for Relay. We could not be more proud of all our employees that contributed time and effort toward our goal.

LIMA promotes engagement throughout the year, and we are fortunate to work with a team that support the values and encourage the benefits of donations to a cause that advances care to cancer survivors and is a memorial to those we have lost.
