Good Friday morning! Fire weather watch is in effect until 6 p.m. Burn ban is in effect. Do not burn!

Thursday evening, if you were lucky, two-tenths of an inch of rain fell as the warm front barely moved across the region. High pressure kept the bulk of the rain to our south.

Friday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with mostly sunny skies by late afternoon. Temperatures will nearly reach 60 degrees, but overnight, we will crash to near freezing.

On Saturday, windy conditions will return as another cold front advances overhead. Calm and cloudy conditions early will give way to increasing sunshine along with very breezy conditions as we progress from the early afternoon into the evening. Expect 15 to 25 mph winds, with gusts over 30 mph at times. Winds will relax overnight, allowing temps to crash to near freezing again.

On Sunday, calmer conditions will return, along with temperatures! Lower 60s are expected with calm winds.
