Lebanon Transit introduced its new executive director at the Oct. 30 meeting of the agency’s board of directors.
Angela Luciotti, who previously served as Lebanon Transit’s chief financial officer, is taking over the helm from Theresa Giurintano. Giurintano retired from the role after 40 years.
“During her many years at Lebanon Transit, Angie has shown herself to be highly competent in whatever role she served,” board chairman Franklin Shearer said in a release.
Luciotti has more than 27 years of experience in the transit industry, beginning her career at Lebanon Transit in March 1997 as a receptionist and quickly rising in the ranks. As CFO, Luciotti implemented new accounting systems, payroll systems, and grants management programs.
“Now I look forward to identifying potential opportunities for growth that will drive positive change for the residents of Lebanon County,” she said in a statement.
Founded in 1979, Lebanon Transit provides fixed route bus services to communities across Lebanon County and beyond to destinations including Hershey, Harrisburg, and Park City Center. Lebanon Transit also operates a Shared Ride van division with reservation-based, curb-to-curb service anywhere inside Lebanon County.
