Substitute (On-call) Meals on Wheels Driver

- Starting Salary – $12.38/hr. / plus IRS mileage rate
- Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Nature of Work: Use personal vehicle to deliver meals to eligible seniors in Lebanon County. Order/record meals each delivery day. Report changes in consumers’ condition to the office as soon as possible.

Description of Work: In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in multiple roles in Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging (LCAAA). Your primary role is assisting with information and referral calls, transferring calls to appropriate staff, and managing the hard copy files. You will also assist care managers with their three-and nine-month telephone contacts; assist the PA Medi Coordinator with various programs throughout the year; and manage the Domiciliary Care program’s six month and yearly care plan assessments. Other aspects of this role include recruiting volunteers for PA Medi and tracking their hours, filing appeals for insurance denials, and answering questions regarding Medicare programs along with any other related job duties.
Required Experience, Training, & Eligibility:
- One year as an Aging Case Aide 1: or
- Two years of public contact work, including one year in a human services program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
