Officials have announced the lineup for the 2025 summer camp series in Lebanon city.
“Our camps provide a variety of engaging activities in nature, public service, and environmental education,” the city said in a release.
Nature Camp: June 23-25 (three-day camp) from 9 a.m. to noon at the Nature Barn at Stoever’s Dam. “Allows campers to explore the great outdoors.” Free for city residents and $20 for non-residents.
Detective for a Day Mini Camp: July 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. and July 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at City Hall. “For those interested in investigative skills.” Free for city residents and $5 for non-residents.
Firefighter for a Day Mini Camp: July 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. and July 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Optimist Building at Southwest Park. “Future heroes … get an inside look at firefighting.” Free for city residents and $5 for non-residents.
Recycling Ranger Mini Camp: Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nature Barn at Stoever’s Dam. “Transform campers into environmental superheroes.” Free for city residents and $20 for non-residents.
Camps are open to children ages 6 to 12. Each session has room for 30 participants.
This will be the seventh year for the Nature Camp and second for the Recycling, Firefighter for a Day, and Detective for a Day mini-camps.
