Visit Lebanon Valley has opened nominations for their third annual Hospitality Star Awards, a celebration honoring “the exceptional individuals in the local hospitality industry who go above and beyond to make the Lebanon Valley a warm, welcoming destination.”

“Do you know someone who lights up every guest interaction with enthusiasm and hometown pride? Someone who not only delivers outstanding service but also reflects the very best of what the Lebanon Valley has to offer? Now is the time to recognize them,” Jane Schott Yorty, event manager for Visit Lebanon Valley, said in an email.

The marketing agency is looking for nominations of employees “that deliver outstanding service and reflect the best of the Lebanon Valley,” a release says.

Nominations are open through Oct. 1. The form for nominations can be found online.

Nominations will be reviewed by Visit Lebanon Valley board members, the release explains. Winners will be announced at a light breakfast during the agency’s annual Hospitality Mixer at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at Alden Villa.

Each winner will receive $100 and a special recognition award.

“Our local hospitality workers are often the unsung heroes of the visitor experience,” said Jennifer Kuzo, president of Visit Lebanon Valley. “These awards are our way of showing appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and the pride they bring to our community.”
