Forgery, theft by deception, identity theft – On Oct. 16, police charged Nytel Defendini, 50, with forgery, theft by deception, and identity theft after an incident on the 300 block of Schneider Drive.

False identification to law enforcement, evading arrest or detention on foot – On Oct. 17, police charged Luis Otero-Figueroa, 33, with false identification to law enforcement and evading arrest or detention on foot after he was arrested on the 300 block of North 14th Street on an outstanding warrant.

Drug possession – On Oct. 17, police charged Dauri Almonte, 34, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of 7th and Walton streets.

Theft by unlawful taking – On Oct. 18, police charged Ismael Padilla-Rosado, 54, with theft by unlawful taking after an incident on the 300 block of North 11th Street.

Simple assault – On Oct. 19, police charged Brandon Butt, 31, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after police responded to a disturbance on the 00 block of North 9th Street.

Drug possession – On Oct. 19, police charged Jayda Stamm, 21, with possession of drug paraphernalia after she was arrested in the area of Spring and Gannon streets on an outstanding warrant.

Simple assault – On Oct. 20, police charged Felicia Hunsicker, 36, with simple assault after an incident on the 500 block of Weidman Street.

DUI, driving while suspended – On Oct. 20, police charged Kyle Haley, 38, with DUI-alcohol, driving while suspended, and registration required after a traffic stop on the 00 block of Lehman Street.

Theft by unlawful taking – On Oct. 21, police charged Juan Pagan-Rodriguez, 24, with theft by unlawful taking (motor vehicle) after an incident on the 1400 block of Lafayette Street.

Stalking, criminal mischief – On Oct. 22, police charged Shelby Werner, 31, with stalking, criminal mischief, and harassment after an incident on the 400 block of North 10th Street.

Simple assault, prohibited offensive weapons – On Oct. 22, police charged Anthony Scaturro, 47, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) and prohibited offensive weapons after a disturbance at Brookside Apartments.

Possession of child sexual abuse material, unlawful contact with a minor – On Oct. 22, police received a tip regarding an individual allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material and engaging in communication with a juvenile. Police verified the accuracy of the information and arrested Anthony Smith, 45, for possession of child sexual abuse material and unlawful contact with a minor.

Trunk-or-treat 2025 – The Lebanon City Police Department went upside down this year with its Stranger Things theme! The police department sends a huge thank you to Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA, and the Lebanon YMCA for hosting such a great family fun evening! The police department loved seeing all the amazing costumes, creepy creatures, and smiling faces, even the ones hiding behind masks, and is already counting down the days until next year!

Lebanon County Regional

Theft by unlawful taking or disposition – Around 12:07 p.m. April 25, police responded to Taco Bell in North Cornwall Township regarding a theft of a cellphone. Police determined that Payton Klepper, 18, was responsible for stealing the phone and charged Klepper with misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking or disposition-movable property.

DUI, careless driving – At 12:13 p.m. June 19, police responded to the 1600 block of Colebrook Road in North Cornwall Township for a crash. An investigation revealed that Tina Turner, 57, was operating a vehicle while under the influence of several medications, causing the crash. Police charged Turner with misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance, summary careless driving, and summary driving on roadways laned for traffic.

DUI, careless driving – At 1:46 p.m. Aug. 9, police responded to the 1900 block of Quentin Road in North Cornwall Township for a crash. An investigation revealed that Luis Marquez-Rivera, 53, was operating a vehicle while under the influence of several controlled substances, causing the crash. Police also found that Marquez-Rivera had a suspended driver’s license. Police charged Marquez-Rivera with misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance, misdemeanor DUI-alcohol or controlled substance, summary driving while suspended, summary careless driving, and summary driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Drug possession – At 11:38 p.m. Aug. 9, police pulled over a vehicle on the 1700 block of Chestnut Street in North Cornwall Township and found Tiffiney Pyles, 24, to be in possession of a controlled substance. Police charged Pyles with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

An investigation revealed that Austyn Fox, 24, was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Fox with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and summary general lighting requirements.

Simple assault, recklessly endangering another person – At 5:34 p.m. Aug. 28, police responded to the 1600 block of Chestnut Street in North Cornwall Township for an assault. Police said Elijah Taylor, 29, displayed a firearm, placing another person in fear of serious bodily injury, and conspired with a female to commit the assault. Police charged Taylor with misdemeanor simple assault and misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person. Police also charged Amber Swisher, 37, with misdemeanor simple assault, misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person, and summary backing up vehicle improperly in connection with the incident.

Simple assault – At 10:03 p.m. Sept. 5, police responded to the 1100 block of Kochenderfer Road in North Lebanon Township for a domestic dispute. Police found a person who had a laceration on her right eyebrow from being struck by an object and identified the person who struck her as Dennis Bashore Jr., 50, but were unable to locate him at the time of the incident. Police obtained a warrant for his arrest and on Oct. 14 arrested Bashore and charged him with misdemeanor simple assault.

Retail theft – Police charged Eric Torres, 31, with misdemeanor retail theft after an incident Sept. 27 at Target in North Cornwall Township, where Torres allegedly stole merchandise valued at $353.33.

Defiant trespass, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct – Around 1:44 a.m. Sept. 29, police observed a subject at the Country Garden Laundromat in North Cornwall Township and told the subject, who was identified as Robert Payetta, 58, to leave the property, but he refused. Police attempted to place Payetta into custody, but he ran from police and resisted arrest, police said. Police charged Payetta with misdemeanor defiant trespass, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and summary disorderly conduct.

Bench warrant served – At 3:05 p.m. Sept. 29, police responded to the Hampton Inn in North Lebanon Township for a trespassing complaint after Jonathan Clark, 55, was allegedly told to leave and became aggressive with staff. Police found Clark to have a bench warrant for his arrest from the Berks County Sheriff’s Department, took him into custody, and transported him to LCCB.

Resisting arrest, defiant trespass – At 7:23 p.m. Oct. 13, police responded to Stoever’s Dam Park in North Lebanon Township for a trespassing complaint. Police said Jazmine McGinnis, 25, was in the park after hours and refused to leave when police ordered her to do so. McGinnis resisted officers when they placed her into custody. Police charged McGinnis with misdemeanor resisting arrest and misdemeanor defiant trespass.

Walmart Distribution Center provides donuts – On Wednesday, Oct. 22, two staff members from the Walmart Distribution Center at 1625 Heilmandale Road in North Lebanon Township came to the Lebanon County Regional Police Department’s North Lebanon office and provided officers and staff members with donuts and coffee mugs. The police department thanks them for their continued support!

North Londonderry Township

Harassment – Police charged a 61-year-old Harrisburg man with summary harassment in connection with an incident at 9:08 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Palmyra Bowling Alley in Palmyra involving a 20-year-old Lebanon woman.

Restrictions on alcoholic beverages – Police charged a 24-year-old Lebanon man with summary restrictions on alcoholic beverages for having an open container in a vehicle that was being driven at 2:42 a.m. Oct. 18 on the 1100 block of West Main Street. The man was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the stop.

South Lebanon Township

Drug possession – Around 6:56 p.m. May 15, police responded to a medical emergency on the 1100 block of East Old Cumberland Street in Lebanon and learned that a resident, Randall Lutz, 68, was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Upon receipt of Lutz’s test results, police charged Lutz with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (synthetic marijuana) and misdemeanor possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Drug possession, driving while suspended – Around 2:25 a.m. June 13, police pulled over a vehicle along East Walnut Street in Lebanon and learned that the driver, Chase Albright, 36, was in possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned that Albright’s driving privileges were suspended in relation to a DUI charge. Upon receipt of Albright’s test results, police charged Albright with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and misdemeanor driving while suspended, DUI-related, third or subsequent offense.

Theft by unlawful taking or disposition – On Aug. 26, police responded to Home Depot in Lebanon for a theft and learned that a former employee, Melvin Fernandez, 38, committed refund fraud while employed there totaling $634.11. Police charged Fernandez with misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

DUI – Around 9:45 p.m. Sept. 19, police pulled over a vehicle along King Street in Lebanon and learned that the driver, Alexis Yoder, 22, was under the influence of alcohol. Yoder’s BAC was 0.210% at the time of the stop. Police charged Yoder with misdemeanor DUI-incapable of safe driving and misdemeanor DUI-highest rate of alcohol.

Driving while suspended – Around 2:21 a.m. Sept. 24, police pulled over a vehicle along East Walnut Street in Lebanon and learned that the driver, Torrie Oliver, 44, was driving while his driving privileges were suspended in relation to a DUI charge. Police charged Oliver with misdemeanor driving while suspended, DUI-related, third or subsequent offense.

Indecent exposure, disorderly conduct – Around 3:12 p.m. Oct. 9, police responded to the AES Ironwood Park for an indecent exposure complaint and learned that two people observed a completely nude man standing by a car. Police located Bartley Sando, 76, who was identified by the witnesses as the nude man. Police charged Sando with misdemeanor indecent exposure and summary disorderly conduct.

Stalking – Around 12:02 p.m. Oct. 11, police responded to Anne Avenue for a stalking complaint and learned that Harold Longenecker, 66, was at a home in violation of a PFA order. Due to the issue being a repeated course of conduct, police charged Longenecker with felony stalking.

South Londonderry Township

Hit-and-run – At 8:42 p.m. Oct. 12, police were notified of a hit-and-run crash at North Village Circle and Harvest Mill Lane in Palmyra. Police made contact with the mother of a 16-year-old Palmyra boy and were notified that the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. that day. Police were notified that the driver of a black sedan failed to stop for a stop sign and struck the juvenile, who was riding his bicycle in the area. The boy sustained minor injuries. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact South Londonderry Township Police at 717-838-1376.

Vehicle accident – At 10:59 p.m. Oct. 17, a 2015 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 35-year-old Johnstown man was traveling east on I-76 East when it struck a deer. The Hyundai was driven onto the right shoulder and was later towed from the scene by H&S Towing. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.

Vehicle accident – At 10:20 p.m. Oct. 18, a 2023 Kia Sportage driven by a 41-year-old York Haven man, accompanied by a 36-year-old York Haven woman, was traveling west on I-76 West when it struck and killed a deer. The Kia was driven onto the right shoulder and was later towed from the scene. The occupants were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries.

Western Lebanon County Regional

DUI, drug possession – Around 1:52 p.m. June 4, police responded to a two-vehicle crash on the 200 block of East Main Street in Annville. Police identified the driver who caused the crash as Allison Matusiak, 31, took her into custody, and transported her to Good Samaritan Hospital for a legal blood analysis. Test results showed that Matusiak was under the influence of controlled substances while operating the vehicle. Police charged Matusiak with two counts of misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of controlled substances, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Simple assault, criminal mischief – On Sept. 10, police charged Matthew Harrison, 34, with misdemeanor simple assault, misdemeanor criminal mischief, and summary harassment stemming from an incident on the 200 block of West Main Street in Annville.

Criminal trespass – Around 4:30 p.m. Oct. 13, police responded to the 1100 block of South White Oak Street in South Annville Township for a man trespassing inside a home. Police arrived on the scene and located the subject inside the home. Police identified the subject as Corey Hook, 35, took him into custody, and transported him to LCCB. Police charged Hook with felony criminal trespass.

Abandoned dog. Do you recognize them? – At 3:15 p.m. Oct. 22, the pictured vehicle and driver abandoned a dog on the side of the road in the Shadowstone Development, Palmyra, then fled the area when confronted by a resident.
