LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Krypto!

Krypto, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, “was abandoned in his former home during an eviction. The landlord acted as a Good Samaritan and cared for him for weeks until we could bring him in.”
Since then, Mika says, this 1-year-old male pup has turned into a real Superdog. He’s playful, curious and friendly, she says, and he has the “silliest ears where each does its own thing.”
He offers his family free kisses and cuddles, she says, and he’s a “social butterfly who enjoys humans and dogs alike.” He also “enjoys playing with his toys and going on adventures.”
Krypto is crate-trained and is working hard at housebreaking, she adds, and he could share a home with dog-savvy cats. He’s “looking for an active family that will include him in all of life’s adventures.”
