A variety of business representatives, community groups, and performers made their way down Cumberland Street Saturday morning to usher in the holiday season — and try their hand at winning a parade award from the Community of Lebanon Association.
The 2025 edition of the holiday parade, themed around gingerbread, ran from 10 a.m. to around 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, drawing onlookers despite some drizzle earlier in the morning.
Judges gathered near 7th Street to inspect the floats, hear and watch live performances, and make the final judgments on who would receive various awards.
In the dance group category, Jonestown Dance won first place, followed by Generation Dance.

The award for the top decorated emergency vehicle went to First Aid & Safety Patrol, with Rural Security (based in Sand Hill) receiving second place.

Cedar Culture received first place in the walking group category, followed by the Boots & Bridles 4-H Horse and Pony Club.
There were two Best in Theme awards, one for the gingerbread theme, and one for patriotism.
The top gingerbread contestant was the Salvation Army, followed by the Lebanon County Equine 4H.

The top patriotic contestants were Danstation and America 250.

The overall Best Float award went to One Way Thrift, which featured a variety of livestock.

Second place in Best Float was North Cornwall Commons, which followed the gingerbread theme.
