Here’s how Lebanon County schools performed in 2025 standardized testing

The 2025 Pennsylvania System of School Assessment and Keystone Exam scores have been released.

Results for PSSAs were broken down by district, grade, and subject. Keystone Exams were divided by district and subject.

When compared to the statewide averages, Palmyra and Cornwall-Lebanon scored above average on each test. Annville-Cleona scored above average on both PSSA tests. Northern Lebanon County scored above average on the math PSSA and the Algebra I Keystone Exam, and Eastern Lebanon County scored above average on the literature Keystone Exam. Lebanon scored below the statewide average on every PSSA and Keystone Exam.

Lebanon County’s results are ordered alphabetically below. The percentages show a rounded measure of students who tested at or above proficient.

The commonwealth also posted the overall percentages of test-takers to fall into each testing category.

For the English Language Arts PSSA, the percentage of students who scored proficient or above was 48.6% for third grade, 48.4% for fourth grade, 44.7% for fifth grade, 50.8% for sixth grade, 49.2% for seventh grade, and 49.3% for eighth grade.

Overall, 48.5% of ELA PSSA test takers across the state scored a proficient or above.

For the math PSSA, the percentage was 53.6% for third grade, 50.6% for fourth grade, 43.9% for fifth grade, 37.8% for sixth grade, 33.7% for seventh grade, and 30.5% for eighth grade.

Overall, 41.67% of math PSSA test takers across the state scored a proficient or above.

Statewide, 44.3% of students who took the Algebra I Keystone Exam scored proficient or above, along with 49.4% for biology, and 62.1% for literature.
