In the Net Sports Complex will grow its staff by nearly four times ahead of the outdoor season.Â
As temperatures rise so does the need for both full- and part-time employees at In The Net, ahead of what is expected to be one of the busiest outdoor seasons on record. More than 25 additional staff members and summer interns will be hired over the next three months to fulfill the needs of the growing sports and recreation facility.
In The Net is seeking a highly motivated Fastpitch Softball Director to oversee all things softball at the facility – tournaments, leagues, camps, and clinics to name a few. The ideal candidate has a lengthy career in playing or coaching the sport, a pure love for the game, and a desire to bring more softball to the region.
College bound high school seniors and those currently enrolled in college are encouraged to check out three summer internships being offered – Operations, Athletic Field Management, and Marketing. Summer internships are great resume builders and an outstanding means of career exploration throughout the 12 week program.
Individuals sixteen years and older who are seeking part time or weekend employment can consider four positions that include Field/Grounds Crew, Site Directors, Snack Bar attendants, and Facility Supervisors.
“We will attract more than 3,000 teams to play at our complex and nearby fields over the next 8 months, and it takes a robust and dedicated staff to provide each and every attendee with a memorable experience,” said Operations Manager Brad Frye.
In The Net has become Central PA’s destination sports and recreation facility.
