Arrest warrant served, drug possession – Around 12:30 a.m. Jan. 24, police responded to the 00 block of North 3rd Street for a domestic disturbance and discovered that David Conrad, 29, had a warrant for his arrest. After taking Conrad into custody, police found that he had a controlled substance and related drug paraphernalia on his person. Police charged Conrad with possession of a controlled substance.

DUI crash – Around 2 a.m. Jan. 24, police responded to the 1000 block of Chestnut Street for a crash. Police made contact with the driver of the striking vehicle, Sara Wike, 42, who exhibited signs of alcohol impairment. Police arrested Wike for DUI and charged her with DUI-alcohol.

Accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property – Around 10:45 a.m. Feb. 10, police responded to a hit-and-run incident on the 500 block of North 10th Street. Police identified the driver of the striking vehicle as April Lawrence, 54, and charged her with accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property.

Criminal mischief, harassment – Around 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12, police responded to a domestic disturbance call at Brookside Apartments and found that Anthony Scaturro, 48, had engaged in physical aggression during a verbal altercation, causing property damage. Additionally, police observed injuries on the other subject involved in the altercation. Police charged Scaturro with criminal mischief and harassment.

Arrest warrant served, drug possession – Around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 18, police served an arrest warrant on Hector Benitez, 28, in the area of 12th and Cumberland streets. Police discovered that he had controlled substance(s) and related drug paraphernalia on his person. Police charged Benitez with possession of a controlled substance.

Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, careless driving – Around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 20, police spotted a speeding vehicle on Lehman Street. When police attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver failed to comply and attempted to flee. After locating the vehicle, police spoke with the driver, identified as Jayden Baez, 20, and charged him with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and careless driving.

Simple assault – Around 5:15 a.m. Feb. 21, police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 1000 block of Steckbeck Street and observed injuries on the face of a female subject. The investigation revealed that James Heffley II, 44, struck the female, causing the injuries. Police apprehended Heffley and charged him with simple assault (domestic violence-related).

Simple assault – Around 8 a.m. Feb. 22, police responded to the 200 block of South 9th Street for a domestic disturbance and learned that Juan Pagan, 47, became violent when his mother would not give him money. Police took Pagan into custody and charged him with simple assault (domestic violence-related).

Arrest warrant served, evading arrest or detention on foot – Around midnight on Feb. 25, police observed Isaac Shederick, 45, walking on the 900 block of Mifflin Street. Police were aware that Shederick had an active warrant for his arrest. When police spoke with Shederick, he fled on foot. Police located Shederick and placed him under arrest without incident. Police charged Shederick with evading arrest or detention on foot.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle accident – At 7:49 p.m. Feb. 22, a 2016 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 24-year-old Myerstown woman was traveling south on SR 501 when it exited the west side of the road and struck a tree. The Hyundai sustained disabling damage. The woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Schaefferstown EMS, Fire Department, and Fire Police assisted on the scene.

Lebanon County Regional

DUI, drug possession, unlawful activities – At 2:10 p.m. Feb. 7, police pulled over a vehicle on the 1600 block of East Cumberland Street in North Lebanon Township and found that the driver, Yavet Torres-Bermudez, 28, was under the influence of a controlled substance and was operating the vehicle with a juvenile passenger. The investigation also revealed that Torres-Bermudez and another passenger were in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Police arrested Torres-Bermudez and charged him with misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana, misdemeanor conspiracy to possess a small amount of marijuana, summary driving while suspended, and summary unlawful activities.

Arrest warrant served – On Feb. 23, police responded to the Lebanon Expo Center after a worker noticed a man who matched the description of a wanted subject from Montgomery County. Police spoke with the man, who identified himself as Vincent Herman, 37. Police confirmed that Herman had a warrant for his arrest out of Montgomery County and took him into custody without incident. Police transported Herman to LCCB to await a transport.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident – At 7:28 p.m. Feb. 16, a 28-year-old Palmyra man lost control of his vehicle at the curve on the 900 block of Gravel Hill Road near Syner Road, exited the road, struck a guide rail, and then drove into an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn. No injuries were reported.

Vehicle accident – At 7:22 p.m. Feb. 23, a vehicle driven by a 64-year-old man struck a deer that entered his path of travel on the 1100 block of West Main Street, which resulted in minor front-end damage to his vehicle. The man sustained no injuries and was able to drive away from the scene.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident – At 6 p.m. Feb. 19, police responded to the area of South Forge and Hinkle roads after a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old New Cumberland man. No injuries were reported.

Vehicle burglary – At 3:39 p.m. Feb. 21, police responded to the 500 block of Mount Gretna Road for a report of a theft from a vehicle. Police learned that someone shattered a vehicle’s window and stole belongings sometime between 2:20 and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 21. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact South Londonderry Township Police.

Vehicle accident – At 5:27 a.m. Feb. 23, police responded to the 600 block of South Lingle Avenue in Palmyra after a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Palmyra woman slid off the road and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company assisted on the scene.

Vehicle accident – At 11:28 a.m. Feb. 25, a 2022 Kenworth TT driven by a 26-year-old Indianapolis, Indiana, man was traveling west in the right lane of I-76 West at mile marker 262.4. A 2016 Mack Trucks TK driven by a 58-year-old McClure man had just entered the right lane directly in front of the Kenworth after entering the road from an emergency pull-off. The Mack rear-ended the Kenworth. The McClure man was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. The Indianapolis man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Mount Gretna 100, Life Lion EMS, and H&S Towing assisted on the scene.

Western Lebanon County Regional

Bench warrant served – Police arrested Gregory Krall, 59, on an outstanding bench warrant out of Berks County for probation violations, with the original charges being misdemeanor theft of services and misdemeanor criminal mischief. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Feb. 21 on the 00 block of North Railroad Street in Palmyra. Police transported Krall to LCCB on the warrant.

Bench warrants served – Around 11 p.m. Feb. 23, police came into contact with Kyle Kreiser, 30, on the 00 block of North Railroad Street in Palmyra. Police determined that Kreiser had four bench warrants — two out of Lancaster County for false statements and drug paraphernalia, one out of Chester County for possession of a controlled substance, and one out of Perry County for receiving stolen property. Police took Kreiser into custody on the warrants and transported him to LCCB.
