Lebanon County MH/ID/EI is continuing its commitment to mental health education by offering free community training sessions designed to strengthen awareness, reduce stigma, and provide practical tools for supporting those in need. 

Mental health challenges affect millions of individuals and families every year. By offering this training, we hope to empower community members with knowledge and resources to recognize signs of mental distress, respond effectively, and promote overall well-being.

“By providing accessible mental health education, we aim to create a stronger, more compassionate community,” said Kasey Felty, Director of Mental Health, Lebanon County MH/ID/EI.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Training Highlights:

  • How to talk to someone who may be suicidal
  • How to get help for someone in a crisis
  • Common causes of suicidal behavior
  • Warning signs of suicide
  • Local resources and referral options

Who should attend:

Community members, caregivers, educators, employers, and anyone interested in learning more about mental health.

Date & location:

March 26, 2026, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This training will be held at Lebanon County MH/ID/EI located at 220 East Lehman Street, Lebanon 17046. A second opportunity to take the training will be on September 17, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
