The East Hanover Township Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to approve the land development plan for the Kreider Farms development at 36 Pleasant View Road at its monthly meeting Monday at the recommendation of the planning commission.

The plan consists of nine egg-layer barns, each 90′ by 583′, separated by swales and each connected to a 90′ by 100′ manure building, north of I 81. It also includes two pullet barns, each 100′ by 550′ and connected to a 100′ by 100′ manure building, south of I 81.

The plan also includes stormwater management facilities and off-site road improvements along Pleasant View Road.

Approval was contingent on the Kreider Farms addressing remaining items on a Jan. 9 memo from the township engineer.
