Michael Folmer, former state senator, released from prison by court order a year after sentencing
Berks County prison records show that Michael Folmer, former state senator for Lebanon County, was released by court order July 20. Folmer was sentenced to between one and two years in prison last year for possession of child pornography.
Lebanon Community Theater holding two-person show this week after being closed for over a year
The two-man play Greater Tuna, featuring long-time LCT performers Larry Sheaf and Kevin Biddle, will show July 22, 23, and 24 at 7:30 p.m. and July 25 at 2:30 p.m. at LCT. The one-weekend show serves both as a soft reopening for the theater and a fundraiser.

June 26 from 4 to 7 p.m., the St. John’s Church Grove Building (683 Steelstown Rd., Annville) will be the site of the “We’re making a Fuss over Gus Spaghetti Dinner.” The church is selling spaghetti meals for $10.00 each to raise money for Gus Bomgardner, a young boy who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April.

As part of Regal Movies’ Summer Movie Express series, Lebanon’s Regal Theater will be offering $1 family-friendly movies Tuesdays and Wednesdays all summer. Each week until early September, two movies will be played each day at 3:30 p.m.
