Adrian E. Haak, Sr., 73, of North Annville Twp., died on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Barbara J. Hemperly Haak, with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster on Feb. 14, 1948, he was the son of the late George W. Haak and the late Gladys R. Nagle Haak Mariani.

He worked in printing for Lebanon Valley Engraving, Steiner’s Studio’s, Inc., and Graphic Trade Services. He also worked as a bus driver and office worker for D. B. Fisher Bus Company.

Adrian was a 1966 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School, attended Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Annville, and was an active former member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Annville, where he served as the Sunday school treasurer and church historian.

He was also a member of the Annville-Cleona Jaycees, Annville American Legion Post #559, Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226 F. & A.M., Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg, and formerly coached many teams in the A-C Girls Softball League.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Nichole Y. Good, of Annville, Adrian E. Haak, Jr., and wife, Rachel, of London, England; four grandchildren, Eva, Emma, and Isaac Good, and Samuel Haak; a brother, Fred S., husband of Joanne Kreider, of Annville; and three sisters, Ruthmary V. Pearce, of Annville, Bernadette Huey, of Hershey, and Dana Beth Patches, of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by a brother, Landin W. Pearce.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. A viewing will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5 evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
