Aida E. Ayala, 90, passed away at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Wednesday, March 15, 1933, to the late Pedro Gonzalez and Ramona Gonzalez Pabon in Ciales, Puerto Rico.
Aida worked as a cafeteria worker in Puerto Rico before she relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, and then finally to Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed shopping and fishing and was a devoted member of the Bilingual Christian Fellowship of Harrisburg.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Jose Ayala; 12 grandchildren; and six siblings.
She is predeceased by her children, Leopoldo Vasquez and Aida Valentin.
A Graveside Service will be held for Aida on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 10:30 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards her funeral services at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc.
