Aldus E. Gingrich, 79, of Annville, passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
Aldus was born in Hershey on May 20, 1942, to the late Harold and Arlene (Miller) Gingrich. He was a schoolteacher for Palmyra Area School District and was a long-time member of Bindnagle Lutheran Church. Aldus had a passion for working with his son and daughter-in-law on their family dairy farm, and he enjoyed gardening.
Aldus is survived by Amalie Gingrich, children, Anne Cornick and her husband Sean, of Harrisburg, Christian Gingrich and his wife Korin, of Annville, Rebekah Gingrich, of Brooklyn, NY, adopted son, Randy Gingrich, of Carlisle, grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Emerson, and Harlan, and a brother Calvin Gingrich and his wife Mauree, of Hershey.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Bindnagle Lutheran Church, 801 Gravel Hill Church Road, Palmyra. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday evening, October 26, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. There will be an additional viewing held on Wednesday morning at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
