Allan D. Wanner, 59, of Palmyra, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital.
Allan was born in Pottsville on September 4, 1962, to the late Mervin and Gloria (Keenan) Wanner. He was a US Army veteran. Allan recently retired from Penn State Hershey Medical Center as a Transportation Specialist. He was an avid Penn State fan and a fan of Chicago professional sports teams. He enjoyed traveling and was a member of the AMVETS and numerous other organizations. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Bill” to his family, and “Big Al” to his co-workers.
Surviving family members are Diane M. Miller, Christopher and Gerri Miller, and Dominick Gensemer, all residing in Linglestown, and their extended family members.
A viewing will held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. There will be an additional viewing held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.
