Allen (Al) J. Powell Sr., 62, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of Kim M. (Stoudt) Powell for 43 years.

Born in Lebanon, on April 3, 1959, he was a son of Phyllis M. (Leiss) Powell and the late Frederick S. Powell. Allen was an employee of the former Lebanon Pattern Shop for 41 years, and also had worked for Blatt’s Pattern Shop. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, dirt track racing, and NASCAR racing.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two children, Allen J. Powell II, husband of Jen Powell, and Mandy L., wife of Todd Allen; three grandchildren, Kiersten L. Powell, Jacob T. Powell, and Allison J. Allen; two brothers, Keith F. Powell and Paul W. Powell; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, 17042. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
