Allen L. “Knappy” Knapp, 77, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of Donna C. (Aurentz) Knapp, with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Allen was born in Pottsville on November 7, 1945, to Lorraine (Boyer) Knapp of Lebanon and the late Mark L. Knapp.

He had worked at Bethlehem Steel and then retired from Carpenter Steel in Reading. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, where he was on the church council and was an active member of the church. He was a member of Log Hollow Hunting Camp. He was a hard worker and enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching baseball and soccer, and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Michael, and his partner, Shamaila.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 11 AM from Kreamer and Lum Funeral Home and Crematory, Camp Meeting Road and Rt. 72, Jonestown. There will be a visitation from 10 AM – 11 AM at the funeral home.
