Alvana F. (Miller) Cintron, 86, of Annville, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Victor R. Cintron, Sr., who passed away in 2011.
Born in Annville on Feb. 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Arthur S. Miller, Sr. and June L. (Blouch) Miller. Along with her husband, Alvana owned and operated Cintron Brothers Variety Store in Lebanon, and she eventually retired as a custodian from the Annville-Cleona School District.
Alvana was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ and loved gardening, reading, and puzzles. She was a great Mom who was family-oriented, always keeping in touch with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Lydia E. Mahar (Joseph A.) of Woodbridge, VA, Holly B. Grammatico (John) of Washingtonville, NY, Susan M. Cintron, of Annville, PA, Lisa J. Higgitt (Paul) of Troy, NY, grandchildren, Helen Mahar, Joseph S. Mahar, John Grammattico, Jr., Nichole (Higgitt) Weber, Megan Higgitt, and Jenna Higgitt, great-grandchildren Brody and Brooklyn, siblings, Judith Rodgers, Joan Neidig, Larry Miller and Arthur Miller, Jr.
She was preceded in death by son Victor R. Cintron, Jr., grandson Christopher Mahar, and brother, James Miller.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA 17003. Viewing will be held from 9:00–10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Grand View Memorial Park.
