Amelia R. Galbraith, 95, of Lebanon, formerly of Lancaster, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon.
She was the wife of Frederick W. “Slim” Galbraith, who died Sept. 5, 2005.
Born in Myerstown on Jan. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Erminia (Ferretti) Marcozzi.
Amelia was a member of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Myerstown. She spent many years with her husband on their boat at their summer residence in Rehoboth Bay, DE. Amelia had a true love for her siblings and family. Her heart was to take care of each other when needed.
Amelia is survived by a sister, Mildred Carpenter; brothers, Rudolph Marcozzi and Dino Marcozzi; nieces, Lisa Kreiser and Maria Callihan; and nephews, Dennis Marcozzi and Kenneth Carpenter. She was preceded in death by brothers, William, Joseph, and Raymond Marcozzi.
A Memorial Mass will be private by invitation only on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown, but will be available to live-stream on the Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church Facebook page. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
