AmyJo Powell, born July 23, 1974, passed peacefully on May 25, 2020 after a 12 year battle with cancer, having no COVID-19 symptoms. God carried her in his arms to celebrate her new Angel Birthday.
Surviving is her son Blaize Powell, parents Barbara and Charles Rushanan, brother Andrew Rushanan, grandmother Genevieve Rushanan, aunts, uncles, niece and nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 6:30 PM at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, 5 Campmeeting Road, Jonestown, PA 17038. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Amy’s memory to Carolyn’s House, 1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
