Ana Delia Hernandez, 70, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital.
Born in Quebradilla, Puerto Rico on Feb. 8, 1950, Ana was a daughter of the late Teodoro Hernandez and Petra Nieves. Ana was a happy person who enjoyed music and dancing. She loved to play dominos and hated to lose. She worked hard as a single mom raising six kids on her own in Manhattan. For Ana, family was everything. Her unwavering courage and strength carried her through more than 11 years of dialysis and her legacy of love will live on in her family.
Ana is survived by the six children she so lovingly raised – Marilyn Reyes, Marisol Resto, wife of Henry, Rodrigo Reyes, husband of Yolanda Cardaro, Nancy Cruz, Guillermo Hernandez, husband of Megan, and Roberto Santana, Jr.; five sisters, Gladys Hernandez, Eileen, Hazel, Linda, and Jeanine Fontanez; two brothers, Derwin and Elliott Fontanez. She is also survived by many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her loving aunt Milagros.
