Ann E. Sohlman, 79, passed away on Nov. 30, 2025, in Lebanon, PA.
Ann Sohlman was born on July 9, 1946, in Lebanon, PA, to John and Evelyn Barnhard. Ann matriculated at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA, earning her Master of Education as a certified teacher. She enjoyed a long career, touching many young children’s lives, with the Palmyra Area School District.
Ann married Nils E. Sohlman, and the couple had one daughter, Sara Weand. Ann was an avid reader, enjoying both fiction and nonfiction alike. She loved to spend time with her family, including her granddaughter, Linnea. She will be remembered as a warm person who had the gift of gab to talk to anyone about anything and turn strangers into friends.
Ann is survived by her husband, Nils Sohlman; daughter, Sara Weand; granddaughter, Linnea Weand; and sister-in-law, Eva (Mark) Stahley.
The service for Mrs. Ann Sohlman will be held on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Christman’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., with a viewing at 10 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in Ann’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
