Ann Marie Wike, born on June 11th, 1946, in Lebanon, PA, passed away on May 25th, 2023, at Cedar Haven, at the age of 76. She was the daughter of Leroy R. Shay and Anna Shay nee Strapak.

Ann Marie will always be remembered for her gentle spirit and kind heart. Her warm smile brightened up any room, and her cheerful personality was contagious. Ann had a successful career as a cashier at Lowes, where she dedicated many years of service. Her coworkers knew her to be reliable, friendly, and hardworking.

Apart from her profession, Ann Marie had a passion for puzzles and crosswords. She enjoyed challenging her mind with every puzzle she came across. In addition to this, she was very proud to have been involved with the Girl Scouts of America. Ann Marie spent countless hours shaping and molding the minds of young girls while showing them leadership values that they could carry into their later life; she was awarded for her 50 years of service to the Girl Scouts and community.

Ann’s services will be held at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., located at 226 Cumberland St. in Lebanon, on June 2nd, 2023. A viewing will commence at 9 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10 AM.

Ann is survived by her sons, Paul L. Wike Jr. and Timothy S. Wike; grandchildren, Blaine Wike, Sidney Wike, Tucker Wike, and Abbey Wike, Layla Dietz; brother, Richard P. Shay; and sister, Susan E. Janesko.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Wike.

Ann’s compassion and love for others made her an exceptional individual whose life touched many hearts during her lifetime. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with the loved ones who have gone before her in eternal peace.
