Ann T. Kury (nee Kujovsky), 100, passed away peacefully into the arms of God on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, surrounded by her family in the home she lived in for 74 years. Ann was the widow of Anthony P. Kury.

Born on Oct. 8, 1920 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of Thomas and Anna (Riska) Kujovsky. Ann was a wonderful homemaker and mother of four children. As a daily Mass attendant, she was an active member of St. Cecilia’s Parish. She was a member of the Jednota Lodge of Slovak Women and the former St. Gertrude’s Resurrection Choir. Ann loved baking, gardening, flea marketing, and shopping on QVC. She was an avid reader especially books about Amish life. Most important to her were her faith and her family.

Surviving is children, Rosanne Kury, Teresa Jean Hoffman, wife of John, Thomas Anthony Kury, husband of Rose, and Mark Steven Kury, all of Lebanon. Ann had three grandchildren, SFC John Hoffman, husband of Kayla, Jessica Cruz, wife of Santos, and Rachel Foster, wife of Michael; six great-grandchildren, Noah, Nadia, Easton, Gabriel, Kayden, and Zoey; and one nephew, Robert Kujovsky. Ann was preceded in death by brothers, Ferdinand, Joseph, Philip, and Msgr. Thomas Kujovsky, and sisters, Rosemarie Spaniak and Helen Krynock. Ann was the last of her immediate family.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020 at St. Cecilia’s Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery. Viewing hour will be held prior to Mass from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
