Anna P. Hackman, 86, of Newmanstown, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at home. She was the wife of Leon R. Hackman, to whom she was married for 65 years on Feb. 27.

Born in Newmanstown, PA, on May 6, 1939, Anna was a daughter of the late Elmer and Florence (Nier) Weidman. She was a farmer for 65 years. She loved gardening and took great pride in her flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, and was an avid collector of Boyds Bears, teddy bears, and bear figurines.

In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by her children, Dennis Hackman, husband of Sharon, Diane Hackman, and Daryl Hackman, husband of Kim; grandchildren, Melissa, Tyler, Robert Jr., Daryl Jr., husband of Hannah, Douglas, and Danielle, fiancée of Eric Hill; great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Waylon; and brothers, Ronald Weidman, husband of Anita, and Elmer Weidman Jr., husband of Barbara. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Weidman.
