Anna R. Hitz, 90, of Donaldson, formerly of Palmyra, passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at the Tremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Walter W. Hitz Jr.
Born in Annville on April 12, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Edith (Yerger) Miller. Throughout her life, Anna worked as a seamstress in the garment industry. She especially enjoyed baking and sewing.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Lymaster (Dennis Morgan), of Donaldson; sons, Barry L. Hitz, of Annville, Rodney A. Hitz, of Lebanon, and Gary A. (Robin) Hitz, of Pine Grove; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald A. Hitz; grandchildren, Matthew Lymaster and Travis Leiss; and great-granddaughter, Alexa Lymaster. Anna was the last of eight children.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, at Ono United Methodist Church, 9 Main St., Ono. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Township.
