Arlen R. Zechman, 75, of Annville, passed away on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Peggy Ann (Hitz) Zechman, with whom he would have celebrated 40 years of marriage in October.

Born in Pottsville, Arlen was the son of the late Earl and Anna (Noll) Zechman. He retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where he worked as an equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising beagles. He also enjoyed watching the Phillies and Flyers and working in his vegetable garden.

In addition to his wife, Peggy, Arlen is survived by his sons, Jason Zechman, and his wife, Leigh, and Matthew Zechman, and his wife, Sylvia; several granddogs; sister, Shelva, wife of Gary Kotsch; and nephew, Kevin Nelson.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Inurnment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation with his family will take place from 12:30 p.m. until the time of his service at the funeral home.
