Arlene A. Leonard, 96, a resident at Juniper Village, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Felix I. Leonard.
Born in Bethel on Oct. 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Irwin and Hannah Balsbaugh Brightbill.
Arlene worked in the meat department at Foodland on 7th and Maple streets in Lebanon. She was a member of the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church in Jonestown. She loved to play bingo and be involved in the other activities at Juniper Village. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Scott E., and his wife, Audrey Leonard, of Richland; grandchildren, Derek, and his wife, Angela Leonard, and Kate, wife of Anthony Borgueta; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene H. Brightbill, Raymond D. Brightbill, Harold I. Brightbill, and Guy W. Brightbill; and sister, Ardella Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Wolf’s Union Meeting House Cemetery in Bethel Township at the convenience of the family.
