Arlene G. Gerhart, 91, of Myerstown, died on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at StoneRidge Poplar Run, Myerstown. She was the wife of John K. Gerhart, who died on Oct. 8, 2009.

Born in Marion Township, Berks County, PA, on Sept. 10, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Irene (Frantz) Shower. Arlene was a 1952 graduate of Myerstown High School. She worked at Publix Shirt Co., Myerstown, for 18 years. Arlene was a member of Tulpehocken Trinity, Richland; Mount Aetna Fire Co., Blue Mt. 50 Plus Club of Bethel; and AARP. She was an avid camper.

Arlene is survived by her son, Rick L., husband of Deborah Gerhart, of Jacksonville, FL; grandson, Ricky L. Jr., husband of Rebekah Gerhart, of FL; great-grandchildren, Brandon Wilson, Hana Horrell, Wyatt Gerhart, and Jackson Gerhart; sister, Brenda Shower, of Selingsgrove; brother, William Shower, of Sacramento, CA.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Kintzer, Mae Moats, Verna Krady, and Betty Ginder; and step-granddaughter, Sheila Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Tulpehocken Cemetery, Richland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tulpehocken Trinity, 961 Tulpehocken Road, Richland, PA 17087.
