Arlene M. Zeigler, 88, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at her home. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Zeigler Jr., who passed away in November 2002.
Born in Fredericksburg on Feb. 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Carrie (Kreiser) Yorty.
Arlene attended Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She was an avid New York Rangers fan and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku.
She is survived by her sons, Larry L. Zeigler, and his wife, Mary, of Ono, and Scott D. Zeigler Sr., and his wife, Patti, of Lebanon; daughters, Charlene K., wife of Herb Garber, of Harrisburg, and Sherry L. Neumyer, of Elizabethtown; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Christine Daub, of Ono.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and Reginald Yorty; and sisters, Ethel Reed, Beatrice Miller, Betty Barrett, and Mildred Sutherly.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
